The Detroit Bailout

While the news media has characterized this as an automobile industry bailout, it is truly just a Detroit bailout.  In Mississippi, and Alabama for instance (Nissan and Hyundai) no such bailout exists.  And why would it?  They build cars in America that people will actually buy.

I can't think of a reason to not buy another Hyundai on my next vehicle purchase (at least at this point)...Genesis Coupe commercials during the Super Bowl too!

I love my Hyundai. I've never even owned an American car, and the only ones I have liked are no longer made, and rarely available...1957 Chevy Bel Aire, anyone?

My friends with foreign cars have had much, much better experiences than me with my Grand Am. Of course, I can't complain too much because the car was given to me by a caring grandparent. When I buy my own car though, it will be a different story.

Tracy, I really like the picture on this post. It's (sadly) appropriate.
