I went downstairs to feed my cat. While I was grabbing the bag of feed he went upstairs and jumped up on my desk.
I returned upstairs to find him eating some lemon pound cake I had just sliced for myself before realizing he was out of food.
I have to hand it to him; his plan was well-executed. He distracted me by acting hungry and then made a break for my food while I was feeding him.
My cat is a jerk.

That's cats for you! I happen to believe that all cats are jerks. Good-looking, stuck up, egotistical, always giving you attitude, refusing to let you cuddle up with them-
Kind of like high school cheerleaders!
There's probably a joke in there about getting 'some tail' but I'm not going there.
Oh wait, I kinda already did.
It probably wasn't premeditated -- your cat just realized he was hungry before you did!
